    Waiters at the main restaurant were friendly and approachable. Food was good.

    Room had a leaking AC, some service staff at the beach bar are biased.

    The property never felt over crowded, there were always sun loungers available on the lawn overlooking the beach. The rooms were big and clean with fantastic air conditioning and hot showers. The beds were pretty comfortable. The sun loungers had fantastic large beach towels. My friend and I like to work out, the gym was basic but there were dumbbells and a bench and a running machine so we could improvise a workout. The two pools are large and very clean and have great shade available from the trees. One of the Gardner’s bought us fresh coconuts to drink/eat for a tip (300 shillings) which were a real treat. You can walk down the beach (south) to a restaurant called YUL’s which does the best pizzas and also the nicest Ice cream I’ve had outside Italy!! The buffet is plentiful. My friend and I had omelette and fresh mangoes every day for breakfast. We hired a car for two nights to drive up to Watamu and the hotel arranged for the hotel car to be delivered to us at the hotel by a helpful guy called Victor. Make sure you leave at least 90mins to get to the airport in the afternoon as my friend and I cut it fine to make our flight. All in all I’d recommend the Severin Sea Lodge to people looking for a chilled beach/pool holiday in a clean and friendly hotel.

    Everything. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and well designed, there is no mosquito menance ( I think I saw only one mosquito) the food is also very good - I particularly liked the availability of a very balanced and healthy diet at breakfast, and when my wife asked for a different vegetable from what was on the menu that day, the chef was happy to assist. They have a very active animation team and on Saturday there was entertainment by the very good Generation band

    Wonderful Staff. Geoffrey and James do a fantastic job taking care of their guests. The front desk folks are very friendly. Food was great, tons of variety. Rooms and location perfect. Cannot go wrong.
